1. General Jewellery Care

Store jewellery in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight. When not in use, keep your pieces in a soft pouch or jewellery box to prevent scratches and tangling. Avoid storing multiple pieces together, as they may rub against each other and cause damage.

2. Keep Jewellery Dry

Moisture can cause metals to tarnish and weaken. Remove jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising, or engaging in activities that may cause perspiration. Avoid contact with water, lotions, perfumes, oils, and household chemicals.

3. Perfume, Lotions & Makeup

Apply beauty products before putting on your jewellery. Perfumes, hairsprays, and creams contain chemicals that may dull metal surfaces or damage plated finishes.

4. Cleaning Your Jewellery

Clean your jewellery regularly with a soft, lint-free cloth to maintain its shine. Avoid harsh cloths, chemicals, or abrasive cleaners. 

Never soak delicate gemstones, pearl items, or plated jewellery.

5. Special Care for Plated Jewellery

Plated items require gentler handling. Avoid rubbing or scrubbing the jewellery, as this may wear down the plating. Keep plated pieces away from water and sweat to preserve their appearance.

6. Gemstones and Crystals

Some gemstones are more delicate than others. Avoid exposing them to extreme temperatures, chemicals, or direct impact.

Wipe them gently with a soft cloth after use to reduce oil build-up.

7. Avoid Impact

Jewellery can be damaged by knocks, drops, or pressure. Remove rings or bracelets before lifting heavy objects, doing sports, or manual work.
